POSITION SUMMARY

To supervise all kitchen personnel; to prepare all foods for functions & restaurants to the standards and procedures. To ensure customer satisfaction and guarantee respective business while maintaining cost controls that adhere to the budget in order to realize bottom line profit.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY and DUTIES

Make sure all F&B Brand Hallmarks are adhered to per IHG
Weekly scheduling
Weekly payroll
Monthly inventory
Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in daily tasks, promotions, and special events
Conduct daily pre-shifts with staff
Conduct weekly training/educational meetings
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
Maintain organization of all food storage areas
Maintain Food & Labor costs according to budget
Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and limited waste
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager
Assure that professional supervisory and human resource practices are followed throughout all departments by mandating attendance at training opportunities and by requiring adherence to established policy and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: At least 2 year degree/certification in F&B Management and at least 5 years of hand on experience in a supervisory or management role in the Food & Beverage industry.

Required Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office; knowledge of basic principles and procedures of customer service; ability to communicate on a professional level with guests, customers and employees.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

To perform the duties, and individual must be able to walk and/or stand for varying lengths of time and for long periods with repeated bending, stooping and reaching. An individual must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. And individual must also be able to see, speak, hear and communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Manual dexterity is necessary for the manipulation of paperwork, computer keyboards, kitchen utensils, china, glassware, etc.
