Complete minor hotel repairs and performs preventative maintenance throughout the facility to ensure guest, visitors and other employees a safety, clean and pleasant environment where quality standards are achieved and maintained.

Performs general repairs to in-house plumbing, electrical, HVAC, laundry and kitchen equipment
Respond to guest questions, complaints and/or requests as a priority
Maintain highest level of guest security
Ensure good grooming and good personal presentation
Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
Qualifications: previous experience in maintenance areas of building engineering and building maintenance including electrical plumbing, air conditioning and heating. Organizational skill and attention to detail.


High school and/or comparable work experience
Two year Technical College desirable
Required Knowledge:

Good working knowledge and training in all areas of engineering
Thorough knowledge of hotel facilities
Previous experience in maintenance
Ability to read and write in English
Work environment:

60% indoors

40% outdoors

Maybe subject to adverse weather conditions and extreme changes in temperature. Exposure to chemical compounds such as mixtures, paints and pool chemicals.
