Eaton Corporation''s Supercharger Division of Eaton Automotive, Industrial Sector located in Athens, GA has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor for our C shift operation. This position is responsible to lead the assembly, test, and rotor manufacturing operations for salaried and hourly employees and to drive continuous improvements in production, quality, and safety while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS). This position will direct the daily activities of a manufacturing team and develop tactical plans to guide continuous improvement activities.The position is responsible to oversee and lead all activities associated with manufacturing and production to meet customer expectations. The leader shall also be responsible to monitor and manage hourly and salaried resources in the assignment of work responsibilities, development, and alignment of resources to meet plant goals around CONC, Safety, DOH, DLE, Cost Savings, PPM, and Flex Productivity.Critical for success in this role is the ability to:-Champion a culture change via the Continuous Improvement Framework.-Lead Empowered Work Teams (EWT''s) to execute projets to drive improvements that lower cost and increase efficiency.-Champion implementation of Lean activities to eliminate waste in key processes.-Effective management of plant assets through leadership of maintenance and support resources.-Champion implementation and improvments in MESH to achieve year over year safety improvements.*This position is off-shift.
